Edmonds Garden Field Trip – 27th Feb 2019

Trip Leader:  Bob W.

Trip Report:  Carolyn E.

About a dozen keen photographers met  on a rather cool, overcast morning in February.  It was good to see a couple of new faces too.  The Edmonds Gardens are a hidden gem on a busy road but plenty of parking at back, with loads of photographic opportunities.  Late summer and many flowering plants were coming to an end, after all the heat, those that were left looked past their best.  The cool morning helped to make the bugs a bit slower to disappear.  Once we got our photography ‘eye’ working  there were water drops, textures and interesting shapes to be found.  The slight breeze in more exposed areas gave some a chance to play with multiple or long exposures.  This was all followed by a coffee, muffin and friendly “putting the world rights” afterwards.

Thanks to Bob for organising.
