Field Trip: Glenafric Beach

Meet at: Just east of the turnoff onto the Mt Cass Road, Waipara, at 9.30am
Attractions: Concretions – Spectacular clay cliffs – fossils – seascapes
At low tide there are concretions visible – a miniature Moeraki – and kilometres of beach, with towering clay cliffs stretching away to the south. To the north, there’s a rocky shore and a creek bed to explore.
