Christchurch Botanical Gardens Ramble – 28th June 2017

Trip Guide – Liz

Field Trip Report – Maureen

Cold grey day, but lovely to be out walking with the group of 10 from the club.

Interesting to see the different things people were photographing, so far on Flickr several completely different images.

Liz took us along the outside paths around the Gardens, where you might not normally walk, and I for one found little bits of history on the way, for example the outlet to a spring the early settlers used.

Seeds, cones, leaves, fungi, birds and winter trees were all being photographed, and there’s no doubt that when things aren’t so obvious you have to look harder.

And as usual a visit to the café to warm up at the end.

Thank you for a very interesting trip Liz.
