Botanic Gardens Christchurch – Perennial Borders – 28th March 2018

Field-Trip Guide: Liz

Field-Trip Report: Pol

Nine of us turned out on a warm, sunny morning to explore the perennial border at the Botanic Gardens.  A number of plants were still flowering, and we also appreciated the first of the autumn colours.

Also, Liz showed us a large dogwood tree whose fruits were attracting a host of silvereyes.

As usual, we finished with an excellent cup of coffee and a chat at the Ilex cafe.

Many thanks to Liz for organising the visit.
